Like me, there are some ladies who actually feel very tired stepping out for work. There are occasions when you think of resigning from your routine job and want to be the boss of your own life.

A bit of hesitation compels one to retreat from their dreams. You start questioning yourself:

  • What if my business doesn't work?

  • How will I juggle between my family and my business?

  • Where will I arrange resources from? and the questions goes on.

To start any small scale business, first and foremost you need courage, passion and motivation. Then slowly but surely all puzzle pieces join in together i.e. resources, investment, etc. There are plenty of options to explore and start your own small-scale business.

Home baking/ Catering business

If you have baking and culinarian skills, you can start your small-scale businesses from home.

Homeschooling/ Playschool

Patience is the keyword here. Yes, you heard it right. People who are good at handling children can start homeschooling/play school at their home.

Freelancing

If you wish to apply for professional jobs, you can apply on freelance.com and upwork.com, where you are paid based on the projects.

Writing/ Blogging / Painting

If you have a creative side in you, then you can start writing blogs, books, and painting too.

Salon business

You can also start a salon business from home.

Fashion business

Designing, tailoring, knitting, or selling ready-made clothes is also one of the finest businesses you can run from home.

I may have forgotten to mention a few but do let me know if you have more creative ideas so that we can share, broaden our horizons and uplift each other.

While reading and writing may seem like solitary acts,

both become so much richer when one is immersed

in an active community. That’s why I founded the-iscribble.com,

a transitional blog, a meeting place for my fellow literary enthusiasts.
