There is a time when you get so exhausted that you can’t push yourself to work. Your body gives up, starts aching and your eyes droop. You want to leave your desk, throw off your shoes, have a good shower, and hit your bed right away.

That me-time you always spend either by reading books or watching web series is often ignored. You want to have a long cozy sleep or I may say hibernation. Your addiction is overpowered by your exertion. The mobile-addicted person somehow surrenders and is no longer interested to browse social media. You would want to lie on your bed as a couch potato and have breakfast on your bed and drink your coffee with long relish sips. The coffee's taste you might have overseen during your work will now taste divine as though your taste buds got activated right now. You are neither interested to plan any vacation nor go to a nearby grocery. Lazing in your pajamas around, dragging your legs, and feeling lethargic. It's very common to go through this phase especially when you are loaded with stress. You want everything to be at your fingertips. With the blink of your eye you want everything to be presented. You find a reason not to stand.

But, you don't have to feel remorse as you are not doing some mistake. Its usual mechanism of the body to give up due to exertion. We usually forget to take care of our health, good food habits, exercise, and good sleep. We become vulnerable to deficiencies like Vitamin D, B12, Calcium, Iron, and get dehydrated too.

A small break or following a set of disciplines won't bring the world to an end. You need to work on your growth and personality development as by the end of the day your whole body gets affected. Yes, you might regret thinking that you have spent so much time stressing over some job or activity that was not worth your time, stress, and health. Set aside everything that bothers you. Do not weigh down your plans in order to complete your task. By the end of the day self-love ain't selfishness, pampering your own heart; nay mistake. Hence, prioritize yourself first.

While reading and writing may seem like solitary acts,

both become so much richer when one is immersed

in an active community. That’s why I founded the-iscribble.com,

a transitional blog, a meeting place for my fellow literary enthusiasts.
