Don't call it a day - Little Angels

The games that we played in our childhood have been minimized to a certain level as memory and we reminisce it as though we can’t play these games now.

I remember, after loads of begging, we rushed to play the outdoor games with our siblings, neighbors, and friends. Yes, I call it begging because we were given a deal by our parents that if we completed our homework/ studies or lunch, then we would be allowed to play. Even though we were not awarded with any medals or trophies but the fun we had was equivalent to a trophy awarded to us. Seeing the joy on our faces, the passerby would also request to join our game.

Kids those days had a creativity and spark to innovate and try new games. Majority games were group games and those games helped them to learn teamwork and cooperation. Kids grew up with more positivity.

Nowadays, children feel that these games are outdated and boring. The advancement of technology has lead to an addiction of the online games that resulted to an extinction of the classic games. However, let me trying challenging this generation with the games listed below:

  • Tag

  • Hide & Seek

  • Hopscotch

  • Seven Stones

  • Tug of War

  • Chain

  • Tip Cat

  • Four Square

  • Simon says

  • Musical Chairs

  • London Statue

  • Blindfold

  • In the Pond on the Bank

I am sure they will call it a day as the same energy is not reflected by them. I would also love to hear their experiences. Select any game from above and ping me below in the comments section about your experience - was it fun playing or not?
